How to provide the photos of your home

As one of the UK’s leading providers of Park Home Insurance, we are committed to insuring all Park Homes (regardless of their age), and providing the very best of covers too. To protect policyholders who look after their homes, our insurer has asked us to complete some additional administrative procedures. This applies to park homes that are over 35 years old.

With many insurers no longer providing cover for older homes, or providing limited cover, as the UK’s leading provider of Park Homes, we are committed to providing the very best cover for all Park Home owners whenever possible.

We have been asked to provide three photographs of the outside of your park home. Here are 5 ways that this can be done. We appreciate your help with this.

If you can take the photos yourself, or someone can take them for you, then please see below how best to send us those photos.

What should the photos look like?

We don’t require you to be a photographic expert, we just require three photos of the general outside of your home showing the front and rear of your home and its roof. Similar to the ones shown below:

5 Easy ways to send the photos to us:

Please provide photos of your home, (maximum of three required)

    Please provide photos of the home, (Maximum of 3, File size of 7Mb limit each).

    You can do so by sending them to photos@parkhomeassist.co.uk Please ensure you include your policy reference number within your email so we know that the home relates to your policy.

    You can do so by sending your photos to 07720 162654.

    Please ensure you provide us your policy reference number when doing so, so we know the photos relate to your policy. Your Policy Reference is on the letter we have sent to you and will look similar to this: ABCD12PK01

    If you’re not able to supply us with the photos, then don’t worry, we are happy to arrange for one of our ladies to come take them for you. Just complete the details below, or  give us a call on 01604 946796 and we’ll arrange this for you. You don’t need to be in, we just need your permission to come and take the pictures.  There’s no charge for this service. Of course, they will be happy to answer any questions that you have about your insurance while they’re there.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      So that the insurer has an accurate record of park homes that are over 30 years old, and so that we can continue to insure older park homes.

      Three photos of the outside of your park home – All photos should show the whole home. One from the front, one from the side, one from the back. They need to show the roof, skirting and provide an accurate representation of your home.

      Ideally, we require the photos 90 days before your next policy renewal date. This gives us enough time to complete the administration required. However, there is some flexibility with this.

      No, this will not affect your current policy.

      If we’re not able to obtain the required photographs of your park home, then unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we can offer renewal terms for you.

      If we do obtain the photographs, then we expect to be able to offer renewal terms so that you can continue to insure your home with Park Home Assist. We understand well-maintained homes provide a good risk to our insurer regardless of its age.  As one of the few companies that insure older homes, we want to make sure we can continue providing this service for you.

      No, we only need to update the photographs every five years.
