15,000 Freefall Tandem Skydive with the Red Devils

Steve Leech from Park Home Assist Insurance Services is doing a 15,000 freefall Tandem Skydive with the Red Devils for Cancer Research UK , because of friends who are fighting or lost to cancer.

Cancer Research UK are dedicated to saving lives through research and the fundraising money raised here will be donated to them.

Steve says:

“Since I was very young (probably 6) I have always wanted to be a ‘Red Devil’ but that dream never came to being. However, at a recent Rugby Match in aid of an injured rugby player (Robert Horne), I was successful in my bid in a silent auction to have a once in the lifetime opportunity to freefall with the Red Devils…that dream is coming true!

I have decided to take the opportunity to raise money for Cancer Research whilst I fulfil that lifetime dream.

I (like many of you) have lost a number of friends and relatives recently to cancer, and also have a number of friends who are either fighting, or have kicked cancers arse, and now celebrating life having got the better of this terrible disease.  I want some good to come of this ridiculous dream of throwing myself out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft at 15,000 feet and fall at some 120mph to the ground (hopefully at some point slowing up near the end)!”
